Research areas include biomechanics(bone, joint, spine, back, extremities, gait, balance, control, vibration); computer-integrated manufacturing and behavior of materials; computational mechanics and finite-element analysis; robotics and control systems; mechanical system design and analysis; thermal-fluid sciences (thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat and mass transfer); biomaterials; and applications such as (transportation systems, air conditioning and building energy systems, energy conversion and storage, and aspects of environmental changes).
